Why are there three types of Robi Capsules?Updated 6 months ago

One water is not like another. The presence and mix of minerals present in drinking water help determine the taste of the water (Calcium and Magnesium in particular play a role here). This is why different brands of bottled water taste different. 

Some people prefer water with very few minerals in it (like e.g. Spa Reine), others prefer water with just a lot of minerals in it (like e.g. Contrex or Hépar). Most people prefer water with a medium mineral content (such as Chaudfontaine, Evian or Vittel).

Because we think it is important that people who choose Robi can choose their favourite flavour themselves, there are three different-tasting Robi Capsules: 

The Original Capsule removes any unwanted odours and flavours, but not the minerals present in tap water. This gives you a taste experience of medium mineralised water (Chaudfontaine, Vittel, Evian...).

The Soft Capsule removes unwanted odours and flavours as well as limescale. This gives you a taste experience of slightly mineralised water (Spa Reine).

The Plus Capsule removes unwanted odours and flavours and adds magnesium. This gives you a taste experience of highly mineralised water (Contrex, Hépar...).

The exact composition and taste of your Robi Water is also determined by the specific taste and composition of the tap water in your region.
