What is the difference between Robi and a BRITA jug?Updated 6 months ago
Robi and BRITA both change the taste of your tap water by filtering out certain substances. And both use activated carbon filtration, among other things, to do this. In ease of use and functionalities, though, there are some clear differences:
Safety: With Robi, it is not possible to exceed the filter's prescribed capacity. If your Robi Capsule has reached the maximum term (6 months) or the maximum number of litres, your Robi will no longer work, until you have installed a new Robi Capsule. As a result, filter quality is always guaranteed. On top of that, there is no reservoir of stagnant water in your Robi Box, so the risk of bacteria formation is much lower than with other solutions.
Ease of use: the Robi Capsules have a capacity of 600 or 1000 litres and max. 6 months, which in practice means that most users only need to replace their Robi Capsule every 6 months. The device also requires no other maintenance. As Robi is connected to the water supply, there is always unlimited delicious Robi Water available.
Choice of flavour: with Robi, you can choose from three different Robi Capsules (Original - Soft - Plus), each providing a different processing and therefore a different taste for your water.
Mobile app: Robi users can install a free mobile app, which allows them to track their total drinking water consumption as well as the status of their Robi Box, Robi Button and Robi Capsule. Smart huh! You can download the Robi App from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
