Congratulations,

You have just brought Robi into your home. Robi is specially designed to let you drink the most delicious Robi Water, genius right? Robi works via a magic button called the Robi Button, aquacadabra!

It is a wireless button that works through a bluetooth connection.

Here, we go over the necessary steps for optimal operation of the Robi Button:

Start-up 

When you purchase Robi, the Robi Button is connected to the Robi Box. Pairing is not necessary.

On first use : Press the Robi Button once and let cold water flow for at least 2 minutes. This fills the Robi Capsule and makes it ready for use.

Next use : Open the tap. Press the Robi Button once. The rotating animation starts. After the animation, the tap water is filtered. You will also see the water jet change noticeably.

Now you can drink Robi Water, Cheers!👍

Press the Robi Button again: the Robi Water stops and the water jet changes back. You now have normal tap water again. You don't necessarily have to press the Robi Button to shut off the Robi Capsule. Just close the water tap: the Robi Box automatically shuts off the flow to the Robi Capsule.

Charging

Upon purchase, the Robi Button is about 50% charged. Immediately ready for use, therefore.

When the middle LED lights up red, the battery needs to be charged.

You can charge the Robi Button by opening the tab at the bottom and connecting a USB-C charger there. While charging, the Robi Button's animation (white leds) runs. Charging takes +/- 8 hours. 

When the middle LED light pulses green, the Robi Button is 100% charged. The Robi Button is now ready for about 6 months of use (with normal use).

Material

The Robi Button is magnetic. The enclosed magnetic hanging plate (Robi Wall Mount) thus ensures easy placement on countertops, fridges, walls, etc. 

The Robi Button is made of rPET (recycled PET bottles) and is therefore not available in other colours. Of course, it is a very sustainable material! The Robi Button is washable but should not be put in the dishwasher.

Pairing in case of malfunction/loss/new Button

In the rare case that you do need a new Robi Button (defect, loss...), you must first apply the pairing procedure as described below:

The pairing procedure is as follows:

Long press the button on Robi Box (back) (5 sec) --> goes into bonding mode (connection mode) for 30 sec ( the green LED on the Box lights up permanently)

Robi Button long press for 10 sec --> also goes into bonding mode for 30 sec

The 2 x 30 sec bonding must overlap to complete successfully

If the ring on the Robi Button lights up green for about five seconds, the pairing has been successfully completed

Note: to complete the pairing correctly, the Robi Box must be connected to the cold water pipe!!!
