The composition of tap water depends on its origin. For example, tap water extracted from groundwater has a different composition than tap water prepared from surface water. Sometimes the water is mixed from different sources, so the composition may vary. But in any case, it always meets all legal standards.

If you have doubts about the quality of your tap water, you can always contact your water company to have it tested for bacteria and metals. If there are problems with the tap water, this will be done free of charge. 

If it is rather a check out of interest, the water company will charge a fee for this.
